Margit Sage RYT200, RPYT

Margit fell in love with yoga after moving to Boise in 2015. She started out loving the strength and energy of a more vigorous practice, but through her training has come to appreciate the slower, more contemplative forms of yoga and meditation: yin, restorative, gentle, and yoga nidra, as well as helping women connect to their bodies and babies in prenatal yoga. Her favorite yoga quote is from Bernie Clark, “We do not use the body to get into a pose; we use the pose to get into the body.”
She studied Musculoskeletal Mechanics at Stanford and worked as an engineer before turning inward to discover her true passions, writing fiction and teaching yoga. She graduated from the Shanti 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program as well as the Shanti Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training program and is currently a student in the Shanti 300 hour program. She loves dogs and experimenting with different types of fermentation.
