The Yoga Tree of Boise is a neighborhood yoga studio nestled in Boise's Northend!

The Yoga Tree of Boise instructors teach to who arrives at each class. This means, if you are a beginner and attending your first class, each instructor will make sure the level of effort is just right for you. If you have an injury, there are always modifications to each pose. Communicate with your instructor and let them know about you when you arrive! 

All Levels Yoga 
Most of the classes at the Yoga Tree of Boise are all levels. This means the class has a range of experience from the beginner to the experienced practitioner and everyone is welcome. Our  experienced instructors teach to who arrives. Come enjoy the different teaching styles and find a class that fits your full body, mind, and spirit. Each instructor brings their own unique style including gentle yoga, power yoga, vinyasa flow, estatic dance, strength building, flexibility, restoration, and meditation.

Sunrise Yoga
In the yogic discipline, the morning is considered as a "divine time" and when an individual's spiritual energy is at its peak. Clarity, creativity, and peace of mind and body are benefits of a sunrise yoga practice because of fewer distractions prior to starting your day. To achieve optimum personal results, it is recommended to practice yoga in the morning. Sunrise yoga brings your body more energy and nourishes you with a positive attitude to fully prepare for the challenges of the day ahead. 

These afternoon classes are intended to invite vigor, a bit of heat and oxygen back into the body to rejuvenate during the mid day, leaving the practitioner feeling awake, aware, and full of happiness for the rest of the day. One will leave the mat with a sense of renewal, creativity and vitallity!

Rock 'n Flow Yoga
Yoga experience or a willingness for movement is necessary for this fast-paced Hatha Vinyasa flow class choreographed to fun, dynamic music to instigate movement and flow. You can expect to enjoy the pure essence of a more fast-paced vinyasa flow (linking posture and breath) including opportunities to deepen more advanced poses. This class will take on the look, feel and insights of the people who arrive along with a music playlist you can rock 'n flow to!

Partners Thai Yoga
Combining partner yoga and Thai massage, one will discover complementary aspects of balance, flexibility, strength and gentleness while sharing communication, trust, and union. Bring a partner or come solo! This class is held on the first Friday of every month.

Yin Yoga
Rejuvenate, revitalize, and reset with this sweet and deep class! Yoga is a place to find flexibility. This class offers just that!
 Find flexibility through your own personal strength.

Body Flow
Come home to your body with somatic practices melding Pilates, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Feldenkrais, and yoga. We’ll explore the functional connectivity of our fascia along with the expressive connectivity of dance through compassionate non-judgement. We’ll learn the feeling of our own anatomy so that our intentions can be revealed in our actions. We’ll move gently and fully so that when we’re done, we feel like we just got a massage: Connected, in love, and alive.

Lucious Light Candle Yin-(Re)storative Class
Candle light, incense, hypnotic slinky beats, poetry, pranayama, guided meditation and juicy restorative postures. What a delicious way to be held and refueled through the fall and winter months. No experience or even flexibility required. Just a willingness to explore the healing heart essence of yoga. Remember: Yoga is the gateway drug to more awesomeness....

Pre-natal Yoga
Offered by Jennifer Knight, Kendra Womack, and Katie Yule, these intimate classes are designed to help strengthen the body for child bearing and support in relieving the common discomforts your body experiences and prepares you for birth. Classes also help you find the time and space to look within yourself, allowing you to connect with your body’s natural instinct of the birthing process. Be part of an amazing, open environment allowing you to connect with other mothers-to-be by asking questions, making connections, and focusing on your personal needs. This class is designed to accommodate all trimesters of pregnancy. Please get permission from your healthcare provider prior to attending class.

Baby & Me Yoga
Weekly classes every Friday from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. These classes are designed for new parents and babies to practice gentle yoga and help strengthen the body after birth while developing the internal love of mommy/daddy and baby bonding. This class includes yoga poses for parents with babies; breathing and relaxation techniques; baby massage; and sharing experiences with other parents. All babies up to walking are welcome. Moms and dads with babies 4 weeks or older are welcome to attend this class. New mamas, please talk to your midwife or doctor about participating if you are joining 4 to 6 weeks after the birth of your child. 

Yoga Tree of Boise Sprouts (Kid's Yoga)  
Has your little one become too mobile for Baby & Me yoga? Then it’s time to encourage the development of their minds and bodies with Young’in Yoga. This class includes yoga poses, singing and dancing.  In this safe environment children can begin to feel the joys of connecting with other children and embrace a healthy sense of self. Children that are mobile or walking accompanied by their Mom or Dad are welcome to attend this class. Registration is required, as these classes are offered based on participation. This class is developed when we receive enough interest from the commUNITY! It takes 5 little ones to have a great session. The format is typically held in 3-week sessions. Yoga Awareness
Step-by-step approach to learning yoga poses geared to promote strength, flexibility and balance as we age. This hands-on class is excellent for beginners and experienced practioners who want to fine tune their poses. This class will offer the “why” of yoga and how postures and modifications can positively affect our aging bodies.

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is an ancient, holistic and dynamic practice of yoga blending various sequences of yoga exercises, breathing techniques, meditation and mantra (repetition of the sound).

Therapeutic Yoga
In a comfortable and safe environment, this gentle form of yoga is practiced with individualized support including the use of props to protect and rehabilitate the body. The goal of this class is to achieve physical and mental fitness. If you are looking for supported and gentle movement, this class is just for you!
